Overview: VOK®-556 is an ethylene-vinyl wax copolymer wax dispersion which can improve the orientation effect of metal pigments in the coating film

Appearance: white flowing paste

Solvent: n-butyl acetate/xylene/n-butanol

Specific gravity: about 0.88

Non-volatile: 5.5-6.5%

Main characteristics: improve the directional effect of metal pigments, such as aluminum powder, mica pearlescent powder, etc., enhance the flash effect of metal paint, and slow the sedimentation of pigments in containers

Application field: aluminum powder paint

Addition amount and use method

Add 80-150% of aluminum paste. Please test the optimum amount before use ®- 556 Mix at high speed for 15-30 minutes, and use.  after filtration VOK®-556 must be added before CAB. It is recommended to add VOK®-556 first  is mixed with aluminum slurry and added into the mixed coating system

Operation and safety

In case of drying, scaling, caking and other phenomena caused by the lax sealing of the wax slurry, it is necessary to remove the dried part to avoid the difficulty of dispersion. Before use, please test the compatibility with the paint system. Due to the high thixotropy of this product, it may be found that the upper and lower viscosity are not uniform during storage, which is a normal phenomenon. Before use, please mix it evenly and use it as a whole barrel as possible. This product contains solvent, so it needs to be handled carefully, Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Storage

Store in a cool and ventilated place, keep the container tightly and away from heat and fire sources. The storage environment is 0 to 40 ℃. (The product is soft wax at 0 ℃, please return to 25 ℃ before use.)
